I feel so much better since I’m doing exercise. I talked to Juana María and she explained to me that there was a group doing exercise together and that she was the teacher. I decided to join them and now we’re like a family. I’m known among them because they said that I have an unmistakeable way of laughing.
I liked her workshops. We went to El Garañón, we visited Bodega Los Berrazales in Agaete. We also went to Telde, to Melenara. There was a boarding school in Melenara that was free at weekends because the kids came back to their home. So we stayed there at weekends and we had a great time. We talked and I realized that I was not the only one having a bad time.
“I know you have to go out of the house but, anyway, I’m changing the door lock”.
We attended a workshop and I found many women in the same situation as me. I remember a woman who told us that her husband threatened to set fire to the house. At that time, I realized that I wasn’t alone, that there were many women suffering abuse just like me.
My granddaughter is really special to me. I enjoy so much her company and I’m always playing with her. When we play she tells me “I’m going to pack our bag because we’re going on a trip. You sit here, granny. Now fasten your belt. I’m going to park the car here because the plane is ready to take off. We’re going to France and, when we arrived, we’re taking a taxi to go to a hotel…”. She’s got a great imagination! She was at my house today, hugging me and kissing me as always. She’s a ray of sunshine.
